Our Motivation Behind Inference Analytics

Having worked with unstructured data in a variety of industries, we realized that healthcare has the most amount of valuable unstructured data. It is data that can help improve outcomes for patients, it is data that can help reduce costs and inefficiencies for care providers. Our mission at Inference Analytics is to use Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics so care providers can focus on providing care and not worry about entering lengthy documentation and narratives about patients. By spending more time in focusing on patients as opposed to administrative tasks, patients and care providers will gain tremendous benefits.

Dr. Paul Chang MD

 Dr. Paul Chang is Professor and Vice-Chairman of Radiology Informatics at the University of Chicago School of Medicine.  Dr. Chang is an internationally recognized expert in the field of imaging informatics, known for his pioneering work in the creation of enterprise image distribution systems, subsequently commercialized by the creation of Stentor PACS, which was acquired by Philips Medical Systems. In 2002, he was named as one of the “Top 20 Most Influential People in Radiology” by Diagnostic Imaging. In 2005, he was inducted as a Fellow to the College of the Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR/SIIM). In 2010, he was named as one of the “25 Most Influential People in Imaging” by RT Image. In 2016, he was awarded the Gold Medal by the RSNA “for having revolutionized the practice of radiology through his expertise in the field of imaging informatics.”.  Dr. Chang received his B.A. from Harvard University and his M.D. degree from Stanford University, concurrent with an M.S. in Engineering-Economic Systems.

Dr. Khan Siddiqui MD

Dr. Khan Siddiqui is a serial entrepreneur and currently CTO and CMO of higi SH llc.  Dr. Siddiqui holds 12 patents for technology in areas of deep learning, AI, image processing, data visualization, as well as securing patient information handling and health records. Dr. Siddiqui was a Physician Executive and Principal Program Manager at Microsoft where he was responsible for platform engineering and machine learning for the health solutions group. His Microsoft legacy includes stimulating computer vision and machine learning research that led to the development of the regression forest algorithms, which is now the foundation technology in the Xbox Kinect. Prior to Microsoft, Dr. Siddiqui was Director of Center for Biomedical Imaging and Informatics at Johns Hopkins University, Program Director of Imaging Informatics and MRI Fellowship Programs at the University of Maryland and also the founding chair of American College of Radiology’s Imaging and Informatics Commission. He is a graduate of the Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan, completed his training in Medicine at New York University, Radiology training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, along with his fellowship in the Imaging Informatics at University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Dr. David Paushter MD

Dr. David Paushter, Professor of Radiology at the University of Chicago, served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiology from 2011 until 2019. Prior to that, he was Vice-Chair of Operations and was founding President of a radiology private practice. Dr. Paushter has focused his career on operational excellence, efficiency, quality, and safety in healthcare, and has presented nationally and published extensively on these topics. He has provided leadership for committees of the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM). He is an elected Fellow of the ACR, the SAR, and the AIUM.
